About Us
COVVI was founded in 2017 by a passionate team with prior experience in prosthetic engineering and design. We performed considerable research and development to investigate the key areas of opportunities for upper limb prostheses, utilising market feedback, as well as establishing new relationships with an assortment of industry professionals throughout the product supply chain. We travelled the world to meet so many amazing people in the industry who helped us considerably by providing a unique insight we could not discover alone.
From there, things came together beautifully, and we are now at the assembly stage at the base. We’ve also reached the outreach phase by ensuring we leave no stone unturned in getting the COVVI name and vision known. From that point, we plan on keeping our aim at the forefront of the minds of our peers within the industries we want to transform. We are now adapting this world-leading product for the robotics sector, introducing COVVI Robotics.
Our Vision Statement
COVVI is a portmanteau of the Latin ‘Coperor’ and ‘Vita’, translating as ‘working together’ and ‘life’, respectively. The two ‘v’s represent multiple lives changed.
In other words, COVVI was conceived to change many lives by working together – within our team and stakeholders, with clinicians worldwide, and with our users.
