The COVVI Glove
The glove on the COVVI Hand is made from silicone with a soft-touch coating and boasts thickened integrated fingertips, improving the glove life. The index finger has a powdered coating, which makes it touchscreen-compatible without compromising the aesthetics. The hand is also certified with an IP44 rating, which ensures that the hand is protected against solids and water larger than 1mm, as well as sprays and splashes from all directions.
At every stage of the design, we have thought about how robotics need to respond across different industries and environments, so we ensured that COVVI was not only compatible with today’s technologies but could also operate in harmony with them at an acceptable level.
